Ten years ago, four unlikely-looking characters called the Teletubbies transformed the world of children's television. With a bag, a ball, a scooter, a jaunty hat and TV screens on their tummies, Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po became top of the pops, front page news and the number one toy at Christmas.
But more important than all that, they captured the hearts of children everywhere - and remain much-loved to this day. To date, children in 120 countries have danced, sung and fallen over with the Teletubbies.
They've chuckled with the Noo-noo, gasped at the baby sun and wondered which is nicer: tubby custard or tubby toast?
